Eleanor (also know as Elly) trained at Wimbledon School of Art in Theatre: Design for Performance, achieving a First Class BA Honours. She was the recipient of the Vice Chancellors award.


Design credits include Sugar, London Road, and Cosmoville (University of Chichester) and Atalanta Forever (University of Chichester / Mikron TheatreCompany) . Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Hope Mill Theatre), La Bohème (Iford Arts), Paws and Padlocks (Blackheath Halls), La Traviata, Hansel and Gretel (Manchester Theatre Award nomination for Best Design) and Così fan tutte (Clonter Opera). Mignon (New Sussex Opera), Hamlet, A Woman of No Importance and The Cherry Orchard (Galleon Theatre Company, Greenwich Playhouse).

 

She often collaborates with companies such as recycled art initiative, ‘The Rubbish Art Project,’ and ‘Make the Sunshine.’ She has also designed many pantomimes for creative arts based learning company ‘Bigfoot Arts Education'.


As an illustrator she has worked on projects for Punchdrunk Enrichment such as A Curious Quest, Our Home Story, The Wild Visitor and The Vanishing Land and she provided their Keyholder Print for 2021, Up, Up and Away.


Elly regularly assists designer, Gideon Davey with model making on productions including Barber of Seville (Halle Opera House), La Clemenza di Tito (Salzburg Festival) and Peter Grimes (La Scala).
